When did you first decide to go into business? September 2005 when I decided commuting to London was simply not life-enhancing.
Best job? Worst job? Best: fundraiser for Capital Radio’s Help a London Child charity appeal. Worst: Double Glazing Telesales straight after university.
What's your strongest attribute? I am a complete pedant when it comes to grammar and punctuation.
What's your weakest link? Impatience.
Do you live to work or work to live? A bit of both.
What's the wisest thing anyone in business has told you? Do the stuff you find hardest, first.
Who is your business guru? Richard Branson
What do you love about working in Brighton? Being able to walk or cycle just about anywhere
What do you hate about working in Brighton? The cost of buses (I thought we were supposed to be incentivised to get out of our cars).
Who are you most likely to share a business problem with? My husband, or my business partner and loyal friend, Ruth.
What's been your biggest achievement in business? Allowing myself to let others constructively criticise my work and learning from it.
And your biggest disaster? Only minor catastrophes so far.

How important is new media to your business? Very.
If you shared a short lift ride with a DTI minister, what would you tell them? Sort out the HMRC website! It’s terrible.

What stops you sleeping? Too much alcohol, unfortunately.
How would you like colleagues to think of you? Honest, trustworthy and quite a good laugh.
