When did you first decide to go into business? When
17 and working in an export office, saw a typewriter repairman and
decided that looked more interesting than writing invoices.
Best job? Worst job? Running my own consultancy business.
Heading a design department in Aerospace - too quiet by far.
What's your strongest attribute? Developing people.
What's your weakest link? "Doing it myself" when others fail.
Do you live to work or work to live? Both, could not do one without the other.
What's the wisest thing anyone in business has told you? Always give someone a second chance, if they fail again - fire them.

What do you love about working in Brighton? That after a hard day you can walk along the seafront and chill out.
What do you hate about working in Brighton? Traffic.

What's been your biggest achievement in business? Transforming BSM into a profitable company after a couple of difficult years.
And your biggest disaster? Telling my boss what I thought of him. I left the company soon after.

Why did so many dot.com companies bomb? Greed by investors getting into companies with no real assets.
